2020 Wuxi Science and Technology Innovative Entrepreneurship Competition

The 6th Sunan Global Innovation Competition



CIDAUK is proud to support the 2020 Wuxi Science and Technology Innovative Entrepreneurship Competition. With the final scheduled to be held in late August, the competition is host by Wuxi Science and Technology Bureau and The Administrative Committee of Wuxi National High-tech Industry Development Zone, under the instruction of The City Government of Wuxi in China.


The competition consists of two parts: The Eighth "Jiangsu Entrepreneurship" Local Science and Technology Innovation Competition and The Sixth Sunan Global Innovation Competition, where the international competition is part of the Sixth Sunan Global Innovation Competition.



International Competition of The Sixth Sunan Global Innovation Competition


The international competition consists of three rounds: Preliminary Selection, Semi-final and Final.

  • Preliminary Selection: Teams are free to register the competition and submit the registration form and business plan, but only 20 projects would be selected by experts to participate in the roadshow.

  • Semi-final: Selected projects would join an online roadshow and top 6 out of 20 would be able to join the final round.

  • Final: Qualified projects from the international division would join another 21 projects from the other divisions to compete for 2 First Prizes and 5 Second Prizes. Moreover, excellent projects would be referred to participate Jiangsu Provincial Competition and even get the chance to advance to national competition.

Entries will be judged against a number of criteria such as technology and product, business model. market outlook and financial analysis. The winners will not only receive cash awards between RMB 10,000 and 1000,000, but they will also receive a wide range of practical support that includes VC funding, loan support from local banks and assistance from the Wuxi government for setting up operations in the region.
